  • My mom and her mother were the same way. My mom was 35 1/2 when I came along (my dad was 39) and her mom was almost 36 when she had my mom (her dad was 42).

  • You made a good point about having children doesn't make someone a good parent. I have one brother who has been a lousy parent because he is an untreated alcholic. He has binged on beer every weekend for 20 years. (2 cases of beer per weekend).

  • Why is it that people must be stupid and lazy to be poor. I was raised in a poor family. Both of my parents started a business back in the 1970s and after the economy went sour in the mid 80s we lost everything. My mom sold everything of value and we lived on food stamps.

  • The Republican party must absolutely be desparate if Sara Palin is all they have. All of the other candidates were Olympians compared to her and at least they had brains. She can talk and that's about it.
